Does the numbness goes away after getting a full body lift?

My friend received a body lift after losing over 150 pounds for 9 months. He felt numbness in the "belt" area where the surgery was done and feels like a stinging sensation inside can not get rid of him. Does anyone know if this feeling will eventually disappear?

A large part of the peripheral nerves are cut or injured during surgery. Heal and regrow at a rate of about 1 mm every 4 days. So far most of the spinal cord – as the front of the abdomen – Aura more numbness. 2-3 years after surgery, the sensation should improve in this area almost as much as it is (so does the feeling itching). There will be areas that are not as sensitive as they once were. This is what happens when cutaneous nerves cut surgeries.
